Reading guide
Counterpedia keeps different kinds of recorded state separate. A claim's standing, a passage's epistemic state, a source's custody, an association, and a record's lifecycle answer different questions and do not collapse into one status ladder.
The governing rule is simple: a semantic mark must come from typed state or a recorded relationship, never from decorative presentation code. This guide labels the difference between live marks, live typed state that is not yet rendered as a mark, and design vocabulary that remains on hold.
Research rendering and admission are separate governed acts.

A mark is live only when the reading-vocabulary registry has a typed authority, a projection, and a renderer path for it.

Supersession

The token superseded exists in multiple vocabularies. A future mark must name the exact family and governing object instead of emitting one generic supersession state.
