Register
The Register projects Counterpedia's governed Object Spine family inventory and the identities it can currently address. It is the catalog layer before any particular object is interpreted through source, citation, record, or graph views.
Family ≠ instance. Registration ≠ admission. Representation ≠ promotion.
Object families
The Object Spine records family, namespace, identity owner, and authority posture. The registry mechanism has been ratified; family authorization remains family-by-family. Registry presence alone creates no truth, admission, standing, support, verification, or publication authority.
Mechanism: RATIFIED_MECHANISM_ONLY. Historical registry artifact posture: candidate / pending operator ratification. The later mechanism ratification does not silently rewrite those earlier bytes or bulk-ratify their rows.

Addressable source identities
This source-instance catalog renders logical cp_source_id rows through REGISTER-ROW0. Addressability here is not itself a source-registration or identity-minting act. Facts whose producer is not yet joined to that identity — including citation-context count — remain typed unavailable. Source enumeration is separate from admission, and a source's appearance in a record is not proof of source identity.
Inventory posture: PARTIAL_DURABLE_INVENTORY. Counterpedia currently enumerates logical source identities carried by the committed accepted source-crosswalk modules explicitly incorporated by this owner-side inventory. This remains a partial inventory, not a claim that every durable source identity in the repository has been discovered automatically. A crosswalk carries an existing cp_source_id; it does not mint or register that source identity. The admitted-record source shelf is presentation metadata only and is not an identity-existence authority.

Orientation over the current durable Register projection. Local counts describe loaded owner-side rows only; canonical mass-corpus query/facet counts remain unavailable until a Counterindex REGISTER-QUERY-SERVE0 instance is deployed and bound here.
Addressable rows carried by the current durable owner projection. Not global completeness.
Presentation filtering only. It does not substitute for REGISTER-QUERY0 result identity.
UI rendering is hard-bounded even before mass query runtime exists. The current local cohort fits inside the bounded window.
Snapshot, cursor, exact/estimated facets, and saved Views remain producer-owned and unavailable here.
Citation-context lens
REGISTER-CITOBS0 browses producer-owned source_candidate_id and occurrence context independently of logical cp_source_id. No candidate→logical-source join is asserted here.
Citation-context browsing is TYPED_UNAVAILABLE: The citation-context projection is not available for this snapshot.
Lenses over the Register
- Corpus — observation lens →
The larger observable reference universe a public work points at. An observed reference is not a source candidate, not a captured source, and not evidence.
- Sources — captured lens →
Captured source objects and their retained-byte posture. Capture is custody, not support: a captured source is not thereby evidence for any specific claim.
- Citation context — occurrence lens →
Where references occur and the context carried with those occurrences. Citation occurrence is not logical source identity, and a citation count is not authority.
- Entries and records — governed compositions →
Governed subject compositions that use registered objects. Registration is not admission, and composition does not redefine object identity.
- Countergraph — traversal →
Traversal and query projections over governed identities and relations. Representation and queryability do not promote an object to supported, verified, admitted, or standing.
What the Register is not
Registration is not admission; observation is not standing; capture is not support; citation occurrence is not source identity; graph representation is not authority. Those consequences are established, if at all, by their separately governed producers and relations.
